Sarah M. (Ludy) Poremba, 85, of Pottstown, PA, wife of Eugene G. Poremba Sr., died Wednesday April 24, 2024 at Pottstown Hospital Tower Health.
Born at home in Boyertown, she was a daughter of the late Ambrose and Anna (Bailey) Ludy.
Sarah was employed by the former Lincoln Underwear and Yocum Knitting before working in the food service department at Pottstown Hospital.
Surviving in addition to her husband of 67 years are two sons, Eugene G. Poremba Jr. and his wife Elaine, NC; Michael E. Poremba and his wife Glenda, Las Vegas, NV; daughter, Andrea M. Skokowski and partner John Raymond, Pottstown; five grandchildren, Sarah, Rebecca, Katelyn, Michelle and Christine; ten great grandchildren, Cole, Caden, Chloe, Harlow, Bowen, Brynn, Aubree, Ethan, Melia and Avery. She was predeceased by brothers, Leonard Sell, Kenneth Ludy and Grover Ludy, sisters, Betty Henry and Shirley Stahl. She kept in close contact with Debbie (niece) and Gary Wiley and also Linwood (nephew) and Linda Ludy.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park, Pottstown.
All services for Sarah M. (Ludy) Poremba will be kept private at the request of the family.
