Sharon Mae Urban
May 19, 1951 - April 26, 2024 (Age 72)
Sharon Mae (Adams) Urban, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, passed away peacefully at her home in Red Hill, PA, on April 26, 2024, at the age of 72. She was the wife of the late Richard Urban Sr., with whom she shared 45 years of marriage until his passing on September 18, 2014.
Born in Pennsburg, PA, on May 19, 1951, Sharon was the daughter of the late Harry B. Adams Sr. and Ella M. (Kulp) Adams.
Sharon attended Upper Perkiomen High School and worked at James Spring & Wire Company in Malvern, PA, for over 20 years.
Sharon is lovingly remembered by her children, Tamara Matthews and Richard (& Candy) Urban Jr.; her grandsons, Kevin (& Maggie) Garcia and Tyler Dougherty; her great-grandchildren, Rodrick and Lily; and her siblings, Harry Adams Jr., Nancy Imbody, and Geraldine Weller. In addition to her husband and parents, Sharon was predeceased by her sister, Patsy Schellhamer.
Visitation will take place on May 3, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. at Houck & Gofus Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 955 N. Charlotte St., Pottstown, PA 19464. A Life Celebration will follow at 11:00 a.m. Inurnment will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
